This historic property sits hidden amongst pine forests high on the hillside above Ibiza’s famed west-coast sunset beaches. Sitting on a 80,000m2 plot, guests here can enjoy the outdoor spaces and two swimming pools in total privacy. Close to the main part of the house, a 6m circular pool with Greek seating occupies the heart of the terrace. Close by, shaded pergolas offer cool, chill out spaces away from the midday sun.

By day, this is a wonderful place to relax: stretch out on a day bed and listen to the gentle sounds of the solar fountain in the fish pond. At dusk, the barbeque area is a welcoming space to dine out under the stars. Here, you’ll find the summer kitchen and a rustic dining table, seating 14.

A second terrace space fans out from the upper part of the villa. This idyllic spot has beautiful views over the forested valley. Enjoy the spectacular vista from the peace of a lounger or Balinese day bed, or from the sparkling waters of the 15m infinity pool. 100 metres further up the hillside and you’re treated to glorious views to Es Vedra from a picturesque pergola amongst the trees.

Inside, Villa La Verna is a clever blend of traditional Ibicencan finca with a luxe, high-tech finish. Natural stone, heavy timbered ceilings and creamy rendered walls combine with high-end fittings in smart, neutral tones throughout the property.

There are plenty of places to chill inside – from the cosy lounge with winter fireplace and home cinema, to the snug dining space with another wood burning stove and bench seating for twelve, and the sociable and well-equipped kitchen.

The bedrooms continue the blend of traditional finca and high-tech amenities. Each is en-suite with a generous bathroom with walk-in shower. The mix of twin and double rooms offers versatility in accommodation – making Villa La Verna a great choice for families or groups. You also have the use of mountain bikes during your stay.
