Getting Around Ibiza: Cars, Boats, Taxis and Transfers

Ibiza is forty kilometres end to end, which sounds like nothing until August, when a beach car park can cost you an hour.

Hire cars

Essential for anything outside Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia, and they sell out for peak weeks months ahead. We arrange cars and drivers through our concierge services.

Taxis

Limited in number and hard to find late at night in high season. Pre-booked transfers are the difference between leaving a club at four and waiting until five.

Boats

Often faster than the road and always better. Formentera is thirty minutes by fast ferry from Ibiza Town, and the western coves are simplest from the water.

Parking

Arrive at popular beaches before eleven or after four. Villas with generous parking matter for larger groups, and you can see parking and access notes on each of our villas to rent.
