Clubbing

There have been some shock announcements which have rocked Ibiza clubbing community to the core in recent weeks. Perhaps the most talked about of these is the unexpected defection of legendary German DJ Sven Väth who has enjoyed resounding success for a staggering 18 seasons in Amnesia, this year will open his 19th season of the celebrated Cocoon parties at the newly revamped Pacha. We wait with baited breath to see how his loyal followers will adjust to this rather dramatic change of venue!

Another deserter from the Amnesia stable this year is Cream, the island’s longest running night, which this year will be hosted by the superclub Hï Ibiza. Again, this news has ruffled feathers amongst the industry, and it will be interesting to see the difference that these amazing new venues will have on the classic parties.

Dining Destinations

We adore the boho chic glamour of Beachouse Ibiza, which has ruled proudly on the shores of Playa d’en Bossa for the last four years. This year, the much loved beachclub has new owners and will be changing their menu to a more Mediterranean style, moving away from their traditional Italian style. The big news from the team is that they will be taking over the iconic Bistro Plaza in Santa Gertrudis, offering a very different style and scene to Playa d’en Bossa in this most revered of spots. Will they win over the Santa Gertrudis scene with their cutting edge menu? We think they can pull it off and look forward to indulging in their offerings!

For a more rural setting check out Deep Roots Catering, a fabulous new dining concept which will be hosted in the beautiful setting of Can Pere Mussona, the organic farm just outside of San Carlos. Take your seat at their elegant alfresco dining table to enjoy views over the fragrant gardens and enjoy the divine delights they have to offer. Deep Roots Catering Ibiza are a  unique, full-service catering and event production company. Their event team offers everything from menu design, rental needs, location selection, valet services, lighting, and event design. The shoreline of Cala Comte in the south of the island is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking parts of the island, much loved for its sparkling turquoise waters and unforgettable sunset views.
